Robert Guerra privaterra.org & Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR), Toronto Robert will talk about the work privaterra has done providing technological education and support for civil society organizations (Human Rights NGOs) in the developing world in the area of privacy and information security. The talk will focus on the the experience, and issues faced in bringing tools such as ree PETS to the ground where there is a critical need for secure, private communications. Focus will be given on the tools that are available, and the challenges faced to so that seemingly good tools are actually used in sustained fashion.
