Wer sie auf der wos4 (am Samstag, 16.10.06) verpasst hat oder so toll fand, dass er sie noch einmal erleben möchte, hat jetzt die Gelegenheit dazu. The dust has settled and the sweat has dried. High time to send out a final announcement and thank all of you who were there in person, online or in spirit for making it a success.

What makes me say WOS4 was a success? Well, first of all, many of you told us so. The atmosphere was tangibly relaxed and conducive to fruitful conversations and productive meetings. Speakers and participants alike gave us positive feedback. (more…)

Tenor der Antworten: eigentlich keine. Dennoch kam eine interessante Wunschliste zusammen, u.a.: “was schon lange fehlt, ist eine cc verwertungsstelle.” Das auf der wos gelaunchte Projekt RegisteredCommons.org ist ein erster Schritt in diese Richtung. Ein weiterer Wunsch richtet sich auf Wege raus aus dem Netz. Als Beispiel wird die Burn Station von Platoniq.net genannt, die ebenfalls auf der wos zugegen war. Der Austausch zwischen den Szenen der Netlabels und der freien Software, für den mo. mit seinem Buch “Websites für Musiker, DJs und Netlabels” eine Grundlage gelegt hat, braucht also keine weitere Förderung. Schön, dass die wos4 dennoch nützlich gewesen ist. Am meisten freut sich mo. über die Presseaufmerksamkeit, die sie für die Netlabel-Landschaft ausgelöst hat.
