Free culture is a very recent development in cultural production but in the meantime already a movement. In this workshop we want to brainstorm and exchange ideas on which ways we can help to promote free culture. What can we learn from the environmental movement, what of the counter cultures of the last century? What images and metaphors do we need to express the necessity and benefits of free cultural development? What forms of online and offline actions can we engage in, and how can we effectively develop and share ideas globally?
