Creative Commons is a growing community worldwide. Since it was founded two years ago the project has expanded to an incredible number of countries. At this first International Commons Summit several national Creative Commons Project Leads (from Austria, Brazil, France and South Africa) will talk about the experiences they have made with this exciting and still growing project. They will present their national pilot projects, the early adopters, to demonstrate how the Creative Commons License model maybe used. The aim is to exchange experience on an international level and to get even more inspiration how open access to music, scientific knowledge or culture in general can be achieved. Thus, Creative Commons Project Leads will explain how the license model works legally and technically in practice. These questions concern not only specialists: it's about what everyone of us can do to use private rights to create public goods.
