Abstract Tilman Lueder My short presentation will focus on three issues: 1. Has the 2001 Directive struck the right balance between exclusive rights and fair compensation ? 2. Are exclusive rights essential ingredients for new channels to disseminate creative works ? 3. Will compensation models prevail in online distribution ? These issues coincide with the three questions that I think most relevant.
